The weather was less than desirable however 12 divers braved the elements and signed up for the challenge to test their skills against one another. Following the briefing by Terrence and blessing by Dave everyone showed their enthusiasm by slowly getting ready and beginning the quest. On shore Terrence, Lance, Terry, and Chris prepared for the divers return and started cooking lunch. As the morning progressed, conditions seemed to improve and possibility of a decent catch became more realistic. At 12 noon divers started checking in and a good catch of fry fish was noted. After all divers were confirmed in Dave said grace and lunch of hamburger steak, macaroni salad, fried mushroom and onion, rice and gravy was served. The weigh in followed lunch, with some ribbing as usual, and the guys proceeded to clean the kole’s and manini’s. Terry fried the fish after a slight delay due to old age, T forgot the oil. Eating of fried fish and presentation of awards followed. A good time was had by all.
